does anyone know if you can collect unemployment while on maternity leave? i'm in pennsylvania if that makes a difference.

Check with your employer. I'm a nurse and the hospital I work for offers short term disability (6wks - vag delivery & 8wks- C section). If they don't offer short term disability then they may offer unemployment.
