I am due in February, and will have to find some sort of daycare facility in April. I want to be able to check out some places before giving birth, but do not know how to research daycare in my area (I do not know anybody that uses any either). Are there any good websites or recommendations on where to look?

Where do you live? I am also due in February and the problem I'm having is that the good ones here in southern california have long waiting lists. I found some by talking to other people who have kids and getting recommendations. I know there is an accreditation process they have to go through so there is probably some state website that will have some info, but still that's not the best as you'd probably prefer some first-hand knowledge. I got a list together of places in my area and then started setting up meetings to visit them and get the tour. I definitely recommend doing this now while you're still pregnant.
