I am looking to stay at home with my infant son ,but i need money ......does anyone know the BEST way to advertise to babysit for a child ??? I live in Long Island, New York Thanks !

Put an add up in the paper. about veing a babysitter. and get a huge paper..right childcare available with phone number. and put it in your window. then you can post adds in your grocery store or at the bank. try to figure out the prices in your neighborhood and charge a little less then they do, so you can get started. its how i got started it took me 3months and i now have 6 kids to babysite...

Some states require you to be licensed to do home daycare, and most limit the number of children you can care for at one time...check out the regulations in your state before you do it.
