Why is it that a few women on this forum have stated that 20 is too young to ttc, but that 21 is the perfect age? lol Just a curious question, I myself find it funny that women can put an age on when you "should" be ready for a child.. keeping in mind of course that there is an age that would be okay - ie, in my opinion under 18 etc..

good question,lol. i'm 16 weeks and age 20,turning 21 in November ( just a few weeks before i'm due!) Maybe they'll accept me on the forum now,lol.

Hey ya , i think its because your not acually cla__sified as an adult until your 21 i mean you cant gamble or anything but then again what does that on eyear matter i dunno, i just decided now that i am 21 and travelled and lived a good life i am ready do dont let it get you down girls

I dont have an answer, but thought I would pop anyways!
I am 21 (almost 22) and I have a 13 month old DD. My DH and I have been married 2 yrs and we are thinking about having another. Wow, can wait to see what people think about that! Not that I care :) Everybody is ready at different times!

20 or 21, same age to me, still think its young to have a baby.

I dont see why age matters so much. People are very different. Personally I dont have any friends my age, they are all older and I am more comfortable with them then people my age. Your actually age and your mental age can be very different. I have accomplished WAY more at 21 yrs of age then ALOT of people do by the time they are 30!
So for all the younger mothers out there, dont listen to what other people say.

Im 21 and proudly pregnant. :D I am NOT too young and more financially and emotionally stable then alot of "older" moms. I dont think it is so much age as being financially and emotionally ready. Besides Its my body, my baby, my life. Thats all that matters and not anyone elses opinions of what is right or wrong for me.

Hey there! I am due on Feb 22nd 2008. We are having a lil girl we think. Not too sure cuz we couldnt get a def look. haha How long have you guys been ttc?

I just got my IUD removed 10-01. So this was our first month :) Hoping there isnt to many more.
