I'm 17, almost 18. I want to be a parent really badly, but I'm a FTM (female-to-male trans_xual) and that complicates things for me. I have only had counseling on the subject, I haven't started medically transitioning yet. I want to start doing that sometime within the next few years at least. I badly want to transition as soon as I can, but I also REALLY want a baby that's biologically mine. I'm considering getting pregnant sometime within the next year or so - depending on how soon my therapist says I can start transitioning - so that I can do it before I do that. There have been some men that have gotten pregnant after they started transitioning but I don't know how hormones will affect me so I think it'd be better to do this before all of that. I'm also single, and if I did this I would find some guy either through a friend or out somewhere and hope for the best. I wanted to know what you thought, and how stupid you think I'm being I guess. I live with my parents, and I'm a senior in high school. I honestly wouldn't be losing "my life" like some people my age might because I don't socialize or do all that stuff. It's' still stupid I know, but I want a baby so badly.
