I'm fixing to be a new mom and was just wondering how long does it take the mother and baby to really learn to brestfeed?

Hi Young Mommy_19. I'm not sure if you've already gotten an answer to your question but here is what I would say: make sure to ask for a lactation specialist at your hospital when your baby is born. They will help you and answer any questions you have. It took me a few days to get by baby to b___stfeed so be patient. It all has to do with the position you put baby in, and especially the way you push your b___st into baby's mouth. I would also read as much as you can from online sources about b___stfeeding tips, or buy a book (one with pictures is best). Breastfeeding was harder than I thought, since I figured it would just kind of happen naturally without a lot of effort, but with time it became something that was easy and that helped my baby and I to bond. So stick with it and it shouldn't take you and your baby too long to get the hang of it. Best wishes with your new baby!

Thank you very much
