With my fisrt son I stopped b___stfeeding at 12months. It was painful at first and I would release some milk in the shower. I didnt take any supplements or anything, i just let it dry up on my own. It took a LONG time to fully dry up. Once I got pa__s the first two weeks it was def not as painful

When I had my first child, I had problems b___stfeeding and had to stop after a few weeks. I became engorged. I found that by taking a hot shower and using a wash cloth compress I could relieve enough pressure to make it bearable without it being enough to seem like I was still nursing. I did this for about a week and then the engorgment stopped. It took me about another week to dry up. My b___sts felt a little bruised during this time and I definitly couldn't lay on my stomach at night, but the hot water in the shower and the warm compresses helped immensely. I think they also make some ready made compresses now too, but I just used a washcloth.

I stopped b___stfeeding cold turkey without knowing the side effects. I wish I should have tried weaning but it's been three days and it's too late now, my b___sts over produced milk for longer than they should have and I am in sooo much pain I'm to the point where I don't want to move or get out of bed to eat or pee :( I don't know what to do. Please I need help!
