Hi,
I had mast_tis with my last baby, I had it twice, then thrush, and finally was told to stop nursing. (all in 6 weeks) I have been told since then that it was likely caused by strep b. Does anyone know how I can prevent this from happening with my next baby? We are thinking about trying soon after christmas. In hindsite, Im sure I had it with my daughter before her as well. I had stopped BF'ing after 4 weeks because of severe stabbing pains and hot spots in my br___ts. I didnt speak to the Dr though. Our last girl has major allergies, I assume from antibiotics during preg., genetics and antibiotics in my milk from the mast_tis. I am very driven to nurse the next one.
