C Sec Uterus Removal Age 24

Had to have uterus removed during/ c-section. This was 1st pregnancy- 4 weeks early- legs swelled up and high Blood pressure, induced labor. baby not in stress.
What would cause the placenta not to separate from the uterus?

Ask your doctor what caused it. Hope you and your new baby are doing great! My daughter was born by emergency c-section at 36 weeks, and one of the nurses told me that preemies grow faster than other babies. It seems to be true, my daughter just turned 3 and is already 40 inches tall. (I'm only 5'3".)
