How May C Sections Should A Person Have

I have heard that a person should have no more than two or three C-sections. I'm interested in having three children but have only one born by a C-section. Should I opt for a VBAC the next time because of my interest in having three children or could I have three C-sections?

I have had three C-sections and headed for a fourth. My dr has given no indication that this is a problem. I have also known a lady who had five C-sections. I guess it depends on the person or maybe the dr. Mine have gotten easier the more i have had.

C-Sections are full b__wn abdominal surgery and just one surgery can present potential problems and risks let alone having several surgeries. But there are women who have had 5 or more C-Sections with no problems. Some women have 2 C-Sections and have all kinds of problems. It can depend on the individual. However surgery in itself is risky. There are risks from anesthesia, bleeding, infection, and risks to your baby as well. Ideally you shouldn't have any more than 1 C-Section. Realistically there are lots of women who have many more than that but the side effects and possible risks are where the dangers lie.
