1) Can you sleep on your side after a c-section? I am afraid to try! 2) How do you wipe yourself after a bm? I have been struggling with this and I would appreciate some insight!

Help... Your body will tell you if sleeping on your side is comfortable or not. As for having trouble wiping, buy some of those wipes (or use baby's) so it helps you get cleaner, faster.

I suppose you can sleep however it feels comfortable. I remember sleeping on my back initially and after about a week or so being able to lay partially on my side. There are no secrets to the art of wiping after a section. It hurts like hell no matter which way you go. Don't worry though, I was feeling almost 100% after about 2 weeks past delivery with my 2 sections so i'm sure you will too. Congratulations on your baby.

I used preparation H wipes as toilet paper after my section, and it helped more than it hurt because I had terrible hemmoroids from pushing before the section. As for the side sleeping it took me a while before I was able to, just try it and if it hurts too bad roll back over.
