VBA2C Whats The Risks

Hi I have had 2 c-sections, 1st emergency because I was bought on and didnt progress. The 2nd was an elective, I think I just got scared into by my OB. I have been reading right into all the VBA2C stuff. My question is has anyone actually had a VBA2C? I am wanting to talk to anyone who has experienced a VBA2C. I have read many facts and many stories but I am really still unsure. I amnot pregnant but we are thinking about it early into next year and I am looking right into these things as I want to be well informed before we do anything or make any decisions. So if u have experienced a VBA2C please writeback to me explaining your reasons for doing so and what your experience was like....even if u have had an unsuccessful VBA2C I would like to hear your story too.....thanks in advance.

I see it's been a while since you posted this and I am not exactly what you're looking for but I had an emergency c-section at 40 weeks 5 days when my baby had a heart rate in the 270's. She turned out to have a heart defect and was fine with medication and is now off meds and doing great, but anyway the c-section was NOT what I wanted. I am pregnant again and due in September and am planning a homebirth with a Nurse Midwife. She found an article recently about a woman who had 4 previous cesareans and went on to have a successful home birth. My midwife said that a person with two previous cesareans would not be out of the question for her to try a VBAC with even at home so I would find an OB who is pro VBAC and go from there. I myself would be afraid to try a home birth after 2 cesareans, too risky for me, but I am eager to try after having one cesarean. Anyway I hope that once you do get pregnant you have peace with your decision.
