Of People Allowed In Room

I'm scheduled in 12 days to have a planned c section bcuz my baby is breech. I dont want it to sound bad but there are 2 possible fathers, one more possible then the other. How many people are allowed in the room when I have my c section? I dont want to pick one and be wrong when the paternity test comes in...I would never forgive myself. They both want to be there but how many people will they allow in there? Would they make any exceptions? Has anyone who has had a c section had more then one person in the room?

wow! no they only allow 1 person in the room. who will u have sign the birth certificate? how soon are u gonna get the test done? i heard they have a otc one after the baby comes.

I am going to have the paternity test done right away, as soon as possible - does anyone know how soon this test can be done? Ive heard right away and Ive heard you have to wait til the baby is 3 months. I will ask just to make sure at my next appt. I've already talked to people and friends that have gone through the same thing so the father will be marked as blank or unknown until the paternity test comes back then he will be put on there.

Just a suggestion. Is there anyone in your family that you are really close to? Mom, Dad, Grandparent, etc? That way you know you have someone related to you and the baby in the delivery room, and it cuts back on you having to choose between the two possible fathers. I too, am scheduled for a c-section and was told that only one person can be with the Mom during the procedure. Best of luck to you...

I had my mom and my husband with me. I think it just depends on the hospital and the doctor's wishes
