A c-section is when they cut open your abdomin to remove the baby. Possible complications are blood loss and infection. I am sure there are more but I don't know they all.

infection, adhesions, incisional hernia, chronic pelvic pain, blood loss. In my opinion a cesarean section should only be done if there is no other option for delivery of a healthy baby or to save the mother's life. My cesarean section has done a good job of ruining the last year of my life.

Monte, I have had 2 c-sections and am scheduled for my third Oct 20th. I would say it is safe to have a third. My doctor was not to keen on the idea of me trying vbac, but was all for c-section. Good luck.

It is so important to know that your OB/Gyn is a very skilled surgeon. C-sects now adays should be relatively easy to recover from.
