Yes I do, I have severe lower back pain ,abdominal pain ,severe pelvic pain ,pain on both sides of lower abdominand have had endometrisos surgery and now had another lapro, and it showed nothing my docter is sending me to a uroligist he says that it is in my bladder,I think and feel alot more pain than my idiot docter thinks,I now that sounds harsh but when you get to where you are PRAYING FOR GOD TO COME BACK AND TAKE YOU THAT IS PRETTY BAD IF YOU ASK ME.

I am sorry I forgot to tell you it really sounds like you have endometrosis.

my question for many of you is did you take the full 6 weeks to really heal? Did any of you lift something aeccidentally that was heavier than should have been lifted before the 6 weeks--- and then start to experience all of these various symptoms and horrible pains. Thanks for your responses.

Ginger, sounds like you may have had a simple nerve block. Typically this consist of a long acting local anesthetic agent with some steriod in it. The combination will relieve pain by bothing numbing the area and reducing the inflammation that has occurrd to the nerve. Unfortunately, a neuroma (the scarred bundle that usually develops when nerves are cut) is very painful. Your body will still try to transmit nerve signals through this area and you may feel symptoms consistent with burning, numbness, tingling, or pain. The block he gave you along with agents for nerve pain are going to be your best resort. Surgically speaking, the nerve endings can be split again and tucked into the muscles close by. This usually prevents them from trying to emit signals...you'll be numb in that part of your body, but pain free. Hope this helps. Liza

Hi, I wanted to share with you all my follow up appointment with my surgeon --whose belief was that adhesions do not cause pain. Well, apparently what he found was that the adhesions had twisted my ovary and fallopian tube. I'm still not sure how something like this cannot bee seen on a MRI or CAT -- it's been almost 4 weeks now and I have not had any of that horrid pain I'd been having for almost a year. Good luck to you all.

brooks:i have been numb with all 3 of my sections. it took me about a year to fully feel normal around my stomach area. as for the bleeding i bleed 6-8 weeks after i have a csection. many people think the doctor cleans you out after surgery and you will bleed less. this is not so. You shouldn't really be having s_x until you are done bleeding. I know medically they say 6 weeks. so it is personal and up to you but that is how my body works.

Liza or anyone, I need suggestion if I should have a laproscopy. My pain is bearable and not always present. It doesn't seem to have a pattern.

Christine - May 18

I'm sure i'm pregnant, yes unprotected s_x, but I'm not too sure, i have a really nasty burning pain to one side, you know where I'm talking about! lol I should be about 5 weeks if I am, i am quite scared about this but i'm sure everything will be fine!

I am also having sharp burning pains on my right side. I had my c-section 3 months ago and I was wondering if this was normal or not. Please let me know if you find out anything. kendall.harper@vandenberg.af.mil

I can not believe how many people are having the same issues post c-section. I have a fire burning sensation in my left side, a little below the incision. My scar looks perfect - it is an internal burning. Any feedback? thanks!

I am really curious as to why it's always the lefy side my incision is lumpy on the left and not nearly as smooth looking as the right side. I did have a repeat surgery a week post-op from my c-section to removed a retained sponge. So for all you that think your lump is from a retained item it won't be. I was very very ill until it was removed. I am going to ask my doctor again abobut my incision mot feeling right
