I have had six C-Sections. My oldest child is now nearly 18. My youngest will turn 6 in August. My husband and I are desiring another baby in the next year. I have had some scar tissue, but feel confident all will go well.

I have had 3 and hope to have 1 more. For me, 4 is where I draw the line, but I have heard of women having more. In my mind, 4 is the limit.

I had my first c/s after 25 hours of labor, only dialated to 4 cm. I had a 9 pound 13 ounce baby, thank God I had a c-section. Everything was fine afterwards, so my doctor said having another child would be safe. I had my second baby by c/s and she was 10 pounds 3 ounces. We want to try for another baby this October. This will probably be our last because after my 2nd I had endomitritis and cellulitis. I had an extra 13 day hospital stay on top of the 4 that women usually have. It was totally worth it all the pain, and I am willing to do it one atleast one more time.

I've been told by a few different doctors that it's up to the womens body how many she can have. I have had 4 and we are expecting #5 in September, it'll be my 5th section. One doc told me he had performed 9 on one women, another said there was a lady whos body could only handle 1. It all depends.

i have had 4 c sections and am 32 weeks pregnant again, i have heard of women having 8. although nearly every one i speek 2 say "i thought you could only have 3" i was told after 2 c sections i could never deliver v____aly either, but i did.....i am having my tubes clamped this time round but only because i requested it...i have the same gyne as last time and he specifically said thet my uterus looked good and there is absolutly no reason why i cannot carry another healthy pregnancy to full term without complication.

I had 4 as well, and everyone also said that to me. I did have my tubes done at my fourth. I was very nervous of the stats on placenta accreeta happening. That eally scared me, more so than a rupture or anything else.

My mother had 6 children, all C-sections, from 1947-63. She's never met anyone who'd had more. Her first doctor told her to stop after me (the second). "So we moved," my mom jokes now. (My dad entered grad school at the University of Pittsburgh.) There for the next three children she had a fabulous doctor named Va__sar Y. "Pete" Moss at Magee Hospital. (I recently saw a nice tribute to him (and his wife) on the Magee Women's Foundation website.) Dr. Moss told my mom that she healed so well that she could have as many C-sections as she wanted. My youngest sister, the result of a rhythm birth control experiment conducted in our D.C. area parish by Georgetown U (it was never published, I'm sure, the results were so dismal from the doctrine point of view: 39 pregnancies our ot 40 women in the study), was delivered in the D.C. area. Now 85-years old and as frisky as ever, my mom often crows that she had six C-sections, one scar and no pints of blood needed.

Depends on your doctor. I have had 4, doctor was willing to let me have 1 more & said beyond that there could be complications, but he never ruled it out. It just depends on your health & how you heal.

My friend has had 7. It really depends on your doctor.
