my incision is swollen around it and it is red almost like it has a sunburn. should i be worried? my surgery was 6 1/2 weeks ago.

I had 2 C's. My incision is still swollen (2 years later). If it is not oozing then I don't think there is anything to worry about, but you can always call your OB and ask. You should be do for a post op followup soon anyway, make sure you ask your Doc.

I myself had a c-section with my first baby and I would have a doctor take a look at the incision if it is still red that long after your surgery.

I had my baby almost 8 weeks ago, c-section and it was my 3rd c-section. My incision is still red and swollen. It is normal, so my doctor says. Just make sure there is not any leakage. Good luck!

I find that keeping my incision dry was #1 so after a shower I would use the b__w dryer to get it extra dry and that seem to help with the healing

Mine is still red after 7 months, well, actually more of a deep purple. My doc has seen it and didnt say anything about it being a problem
