Pain During Sex 6 Months After C Section

Hi I had a c section 6 months ago and still find it painful during s_x. It doesn't really hurt going in, its when its in it hurts all around, so uncomfortable and stings. Its also the same with tampons, it doesn't hurt putting them in but once in it starts to sting. I last about 5 mins before taking it out and just wearing a towel. Has anyone else experienced this??
