Brick Cheese Safe To Eat

Mary - November 9

I went to a restaurant and my dish had melted Brick cheese on it. The waitress said it was a hard cheese so I thought it was okay to eat it. I searched the web and it says its a semi-soft cheese. Was it okay to eat the cheese? Thanks!

i think as long as the cheese has been pasteurised it should be ok. I would avoid goats cheese though and stick to cows cheese. hoep that helps

is pasteurized especially the kind served in a mid priced restaurant. Its pretty popular in WI I hear. Anyway, if it has been a few days since you had it and you have not become sick, no need to worry.
