I am 14 weeks pregnant and a bit worried about getting dehydrated. I have to remind myself to drink water during the day and I do get close to 2 litres everyday, however, I never drink anything before midday as I am just not thirsty at all. Sometimes I feel a bit dehydrated in the morning, but it still takes a while before I am ready to force down the first glass of fluid. I also don't drink past 9pm as it keeps me running to the toilet all night. My question is: Should I be spreading my fluid-intake more eavenly over the day, or is it fine to not drink anything between 9pm and 12pm the next day as long as I get 2 litres of water into my system during the afternoon and early evening? It might sound like a silly question but please answer if you have any info as I know dehydration can be very bad during pregnancy. Thank you, M.B.

not sure if there are guidelines specific to pregnancy but i've always heard it's best to drink in quant_ty in the morning and early afternoon, then start tapering off in the evening. i would try and drink at least a bit before midday because otherwise you are going something like 15 hours without any hydration.
