I know there's no way to completely prevent this but what diet would you recomend?

u should not diet at all while preg' unless u are gaining excessive amounts of weight (which could have many causes) and only if your doctor reccomends u go on one he/she will send u to a dietician (after checking for fluid retention etc) and together u will come up with what is best for u and your baby...good luck

Don't diet - but do cut out junk food, fried food and sweets. Use healthy alteratives. Try to exercise (not heavy and with doctors approval) at least for 30 minutes 3 times a week. Make sure that you stretch VERY well before and after any workout.

I know that we are not supposed to diet when we are pregnant but is there a way to eat so we don't gain an excessive amount of weight? I meet ladies all the time whose legs and arms are slim while their tummies are really big, because they just have not been overeating during their pregnancy. That's the way I want to be. Please give some suggestions.
