I'm in wk. 32 and started having terrible indigestion. Dr. said it is ok to take Tums or Rolaids. Anyone else having this problem? If so, any advice?

I am 28 weeks and suffering terribly too from indigestion. I am taking Gaviscon which doesn't help much. However, it is perfectly normal and it is a very common pregnancy condition. Try to walk around a little after meals it helps (rather than just sitting down)

I take the Tums too. It's not 100% but makes it more tolerable, plus you get calcium. I also found that staying away from foods, like tomatoes, raw onions, helped. I also try to not stuff myself. those things were making it worse for me. Also, I find drinking a gla__s of cold milk helps.

I am 17 wks and have just started getting bad indigestion. I read that elevating your head helps and so I decided to try it and it has helped out quite a bit. I plan on asking about tums and rolaids with my dr. Since I have a medical condition I am going to go through the dr for any and all meds
