It's a nice day, so on my lunch break I take a little stroll. On the way I get some chocolate orange sorbet. It's good! After a few bites I realize I'm tasting an alcohol flavor. I've eaten about a quarter cup or less, and the alcohol taste isn't faint, it's pretty strong and reminds me of tequila.
Does anybody know how much alcohol can harm a baby? I'm at 22 weeks.

I would say you have absoutely nothing to worry about. While it is best to stay clear of alcohol during pregnancy, you are in your second trimester so no malformations occur after this point. According to most current data you would have to drink over an once of alcohol a day to cause serious harm to your baby. And although mild abnormalities have been a__sociated with moderate drinking, I don't think you have anything to worry about. It is hard to find someone in this day and age that will admit this, but I am on my third pregnancy and during my first two pregnancies I enjoyed an occasional drink on two and my children are perfectly healthy. Please don't worry unnessasarily.
