This is my fourth pregnancy and the only one that I have actually felt the need to eat about every two hours. As far as my weight I do not actually way myself and I am not sure how much I weigh. I walk 20 mins. a day 5 days a week for exercise. I was not in perfect shape because I just had my last child 16 mos. ago and I am 3 1/2 months pregnant with this child. But I am not obsese, I would say that I started this pregnancy with 15 excess pounds from my last pregnancy.

Hi Cathee, well, I am in a similar position like you are except this is my first baby. I started out weighing roughly 120 pounds or perhaps alittle less and I am 5'3" tall. Now I when I get hungry it hurts if I don't eat but I don't want to gain too much weight and end up fat like my Mother. What does anybody suggest??

Eat when your body tels you it needs, to, but wtch your portions and make sure you eat healthy foods and not empty calories: eat an apple instead of candy, nuts instead of chips, and be careful not to under or over do it. But most important: listen to your body.
