My doctor has been having me watch my bloodsugar and here's the guidelines he gave me. The fasting # first thing in the AM should be under 95, 2 hours after each meal the # should be under 120. You're still early in the pregnancy, so I wouldn't worry too much, but definitely talk to your doctor. As far as meals, my dr. suggested smaller meals more often, ex. 3 small meals and 3 snacks. Also, bloodsugar naturally drops during the day and raises overnight, so it's more important to watch what you eat in the morning. Check out the American Diabetes a__soc. for ideas on what to eat, I found that helpful. Hope this helps and Congrats on your pregnancy!
