hi people,well what has happened is this,i have just started the pill 2wks ago,my periods was the same over the time i took the pill,but on the 24th and 25th i had forgotten to take them,and on the 24th i had u/p s_x.this would be during the time i would ovulate to!and on the 26th (yesterday)i have started spotting,it is like a dark brown colour and pinky when on tissue (sorry for gross decription) its is followed by a few cramp period pains to and is not that heavy.also i have some today to. could this be implant bleeding??or just my body thinking i need to come on another period?it doesnt make sense!because this is not even near the normal time i would have a period to.what makes it worse is my boyfriend would flip if i did get pregnant!please can someone give me some answers!thanks

hmmm...i can't exactly tell you ur not prego I'm not a phycic, but I've been throught the same thing myself.... the pill changes ur hormones depending on how long u've been on it...in the beginning i had the same prob it would freak me out to, so in my opinion I'm pretty sure it's cause of the pill.

Hi,when i was on the pill if i missed 2 days I would get a period even though it wasn't due yet. It would also make me feel quite ill. Missing one day would cause spottingfor me. It's all to do with hormones, and what sort of pill your on. But when you start the pill, expect things to be a bit strange for first couple months til your body adjusts. If you took the pill from the start of month without missing and only missed after 2 weeks, then you shouldn't be ovulating anyway, pill would have prevented that. Just use extra protection for next 7 days and continue pill taking as normal. If you don't get a period at all then you could take a pregnancy test.
