Shaky Diabetes

I have been feeling shaky if I forget to eat. I mean really shaky. Example- I had a bagel with cream cheese and a decaf latte at about 8:30 and at 1:30 I was very shaky and I felt horrible. I am 12 weeks along and I am overweight. I have not gained but 3 lbs. with the pregnancy but I am worried about gestational diabetes. Is this symptom or is it normal to feel c__ppy when I don't eat.

I always feel like that when I'm hungry. It's definitely increased with pregnancy. I think it's just the extra caloric demands. Try having some crackers or an apple mid morning. They should help tide you over until lunch, without adding too many calories. To be on the safe side, make sure your doctor checks your urine at each visit.

im 8 months pregnant and as its progressed i not only get shaky but feel like sleeping or pa__sing out. Its not diabetes but when a pregnant woman needs to eat...she NEEDS to eat! just like anne said keep something to nibble, even a bottle of water with you, near you or somewhere u can get to.
