Pregnancy Info HOME

I'm 43 and just found out I'm pregnant. It wasn't planned, but we were so excited about the news. I have an 8 year old daughter and just figured, wow, what a miracle! My LMP was on 2.5.17 and I had bloodwork done on 3.11.17, so I would have been about 19-21 days  PO and it was only 454 hcg. The dr said i would likely miscarry and that levels were way to low. I went back two days later on 3.13 and the levels were 770 so 71% rise. Dr said that it what they look for but that it really, really low at 5 weeks pregnant according to my cycles and it was still likely a miscarriage. I've been so upset. I have to go back for blood work tomorrow, 3.16 and I'm scared to death! I don't want to hear that numbers are low, but I'm still holding on to a shred of hope. Anyone out there experience anything like this and what happened? Not afraid of the truth so don't hold back if it isn't a good ending, just don't want to get my hopes up
