At 4 weeks 1 or 2 days since LMP My HCG level was 1,554 It was later confirmed that I am carying twins so I am not sure if my #'s help you much

My first was 16DPO-396. Then 18DPO-980

Does anyone know what you Hormone Level normal is to be, Like I am 9 wks and mine is 45,738.. but my ultra sound is saying I am only 6 wks and they don't see a fetus.. I am really scared but my hormone level keeps rising.

I am five weeks exactly today and my level is 4451

check out betabase.info/ no dashes or anything if any show up. It's a great site that give levels on different days past ovulation. At 13 days post O I was at 65. At 20 days post O I was 1475. According to the site, and my RE and OB, these are great. Smiles, T

It's so weird how wildly these numbers seem to vary! My levels at 6 weeks were 46,000. I had another test done at 8 weeks (not sure what the numbers were, but have an appt. to talk about them soon) and my doctor had me come in for an ultrasound because the levels were so high she suspected I was making two beans... but I'm not, I have a very active little baby at 9.5 weeks and still very high numbers. I've also heard that high HCG levels usually cause more severe morning sickness than low levels - well I have zero morning sickness. I'm very thankful to feel well but it's all so confusing! Does anyone have any thoughts on why my numbers are so high?

I think there is a wide range of healthy numbers. Did you check - out the beta base site? betabase.info I have read that some women have higher numbers with one baby, and that you can't base high numbers on having multiples... anyway, I have my u/s on Tuesday to see what's going on in there ; ) Smiles, T

I am only 4 weeks as well and my levels were at 272...Your's sounds right. As long as they double every other day....Go abck and get checked again!

mine were 10DPO - 46 18 DPO- 1309 so they were doubling ever 1.7 days they want them to double every 48 hrs or so...but 48-72 hrs when you get a bit further in pg...they level off and begin to slowly decrease after 13wks or so.

Hi- I see that this thread hasn't been posted on since 2007, but I'm hoping someone can give me some insight. My LMP was March 15th, 2011. I expected to get my period on April 11th- which would have been the 28th day of the cycle. When it did not come by the weekend I took a home pregnancy test on the 16th (day 33). It was positive! My husband and I are very excited to have our first child. I called the Dr. on Monday to ask when to come in for blood work- they indicated around 10 weeks would be a good time for the first check up. On Tuesday the 19th I noticed some brown blood when I wiped after using the bathroom. My reading online seems to indicate that this is common/normal. Today is Thurs the 21st- I'm still bleeding- it isn't very heavy flow is still darkish in color- I've go no cramping or other problems. I called the DR. this morning and they had me come in right away for blood work. I got my result back and the HCG hormone is at 240. They said this is very low for being 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant. They want to see which way I'm trending- so they're having me come back tomorrow to test again- hoping to see an increase. I'm really worried, I want this baby so bad! I don't want to miscarry. I was planning to tell my family this weekend at Easter. Now I'm not sure if I should until I know how things are progressing. Has anything like this happened to anyone else- I'd like a little bit of rea__surance. I'm doing my best to try and stay calm. Please pray for me. Thanks!

Hi kcw, I am not sure about hcg levels and whats normal, all I know is that they're supposed to double every day or 2. About the brown spotting, it could really be a number of things. Did the doc check your cervix to see if it was closed? I am currently 15 weeks and spotted from weeks 6 to 8 persistently, and it just turned out to be old blood from an irritated cervix. The best thing you can do is relax and take it easy, you're still very early so it very well could be implantation bleeding which I never had but I hear is normal. My quant count was 240 at 5 Weeks and 4 days. I still have to go back and see what my count is in a couple days but I didn't know if that count was too low for how far along I am. I caught my pregnancy early and I have already had some complications but I am hoping I am still perfectly healthy and my little peanut is as well.
