HCG 19000; Only 22506 3 Days Later

I'm 35. The first day of my last period was 3/15/18. I noted ovulation on 3/29/18 and 4/01/18. The only time I had intercourse was 4/01/18. According to my last period I was 8 weeks 4 days (9 weeks today) but according to my latest ultra sound I was measuring 6 weeks 4 days with a low heart rate. My HCG levels were 19000 on Friday and 22506 on Monday. My doctor called me to basically prepare me for the worst. Not sure what I'm looking for but hoping my doctor is wrong. Have another US this coming Monday. Time speed up.
