Loss Of Breast Tenderness

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing on and off b___st tenderness for the last few days. Was quite worried because I miscarried 2 yrs. ago (at the end of 7 weeks), where 2 days before the miscarriage, tenderness subsided. I'm trying to stay optimistic, and reading everyone's responses has helped. Good luck with your pregnancies...may we all be blessed with happy, healthy babies at the end!!

I woke this morning to loss of b___st tenderness after having had dreamt Iast night that I miscarried. I am at the start of week 5. I, too, am concerned as this is my first pregnancy. I noticed from the postings that many women have experienced this phenomenon starting at week 5--Is there anyone out there who has experienced this and come out of it miscarriage-free?

dont worry at all. the same happened to me at five weeks. I was paranoid for weeks during the pregnancy. Now Im 22 weeks and three scans later and the baby is kicking and healthy so dont panick. Its normal to be worried.

I went to see my doctor. He suggested I take a couple days off work to relax (I was stressing out). The b___st tenderness returned shortly after it left (at ~ 7 wks.), and has been with me since. I'm now 21 weeks and counting! This pregnancy is turning out to be normal and healthy. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry. Good luck to you!

I must say that I have been completely nervous all day since my b___st have also tapered off in sensitivity. I have gone through 3 miscarriages and 1 eptoptic pregnancy. My fear levels of losing this baby are unbelievable. IVF gave me this one and I have already heard the heart beat, but every little change in my body makes me think something is wrong. Today it is that I have less pain in the b___sts andmy morning sickness is almost non existant. I am 6 weeks and 4 days exactly and I hate worrying all the time. No one seems understand what I am going through and they keep telling me that I have to relax... How do you relax when you want something this much and it is out of your control as to what happens to it in the first trimester. Anyone have an answer to that please feel free to email me. ssiriodis@rcn.com.....

I was worried about the loss of b___st tenderness I experienced a few days ago but at my nine week visit with doctor this week she told me that it is perfectly normal and that they don't stay tender the whole time. I saw a strong heartbeat via ultrasound at 7 weeks 1 day. If you are really concerned I would request an internal ultrasound at around 6 or 7 weeks (since you conceived via ivf I would imagine your are high risk and will be monitored closely) to see a heartbeat. You will feel much better after that. Good luck to you!

Thank God for all of these posts! I too have suffered from b___st tenderness coming and going, it's odd to me, but it seems normal to all of you. Thank goodness because I m/c twice now and I am so paranoid of it happening again, after 4 years of trying to get pregnant...5 weeks and 1 day today...I just cannot imagine what would happen if I lost this one as well.

I am in my 6th week. My b___sts were incredibly sore right around when I took the pregancy test and a couple weeks after, but somewhere around week 5 the soreness subsided considerably. I am nervous because they were also feeling bigger and heavier and now they do not seem as big...has anyone else lost size/heaviness along with the soreness? I was so paranoid I took a 4th pregnancy test, and was even more upset because the line, although solid and there, was lighter than the last one I took the week before. I do not have a dr. appt. til July 5, so I am very nervous. No bleeding at all, but having some cramping. This is my first so I do not know what to compare it to!

I think that is the hardest part of being pregnant. Other than eating well and taking care of yourself, there really is little you can do. It is mostly out of our hands. That is a really hard concept for me even as I am in my 8th week with my third child. So easier said than done, but the best thing to do is relax. For the most part it is out of your hands. If you begin to bleed or cramp severely, call your dr. My dr does not recommend the emergency room for miscarriages this early unless the bleeding or pain is severe. Stay in close contact with your dr if you have any symptoms. As far as the pregnancy test, make sure you are using the same kind each time if you are comparing them. This makes a difference.

My b___st tenderness subsided too at about 5 weeks. it came back. i'm 10 weeks now and it subsided again. I can't help but to worry, but i think it's okay.

I am so glad I found this forum. I am currently 9 1/2 weeks pregnant and my b___st tenderness completely disappeared last night. I am especially concerned because at my last US this past Friday, my OB was a bit concerned because the baby was measuring small - 8 weeks 2 days instead of 9 weeks 1 day. I am sure the difference is not due to miscalculation on my part because I am positive of my O-date...I used an OP test, felt O-pain a day later and I tested positive at 9 DPO. I have been worried ever since the US and then .last night I was positive the baby had died when I noticed I had no more soreness. But now, reading these responses I feel maybe there is hope.
