Loss Of Breast Tenderness

I am so glad I found this forum. I am currently 9 1/2 weeks pregnant and my b___st tenderness completely disappeared last night. I am especially concerned because at my last US this past Friday, my OB was a bit concerned because the baby was measuring small - 8 weeks 2 days instead of 9 weeks 1 day. I am sure the difference is not due to miscalculation on my part because I am positive of my O-date...I used an OP test, felt O-pain a day later and I tested positive at 9 DPO. I have been worried ever since the US and then .last night I was positive the baby had died when I noticed I had no more soreness. But now, reading these responses I feel maybe there is hope.

Kim- Was your US tech measuring from the date of your last period or date of conception? Did they see the heartbeat? I've been experiencing loss of soreness in my b___st too. Some days I'm kind of sore and some days nothing, but I'm trying to keep positive since we saw the heartbeat at our ultrasound apt. :-)

I am also 5 wks. pregnant. Last night my nipples were very sensitive and painful, but this morning my nipples have lost virtually all sensitivity. The pressure in my abdomen has also decreased. This is my 1st pregnancy after 2 yrs. of ttc. I'm worried. Please let me know if anyone on this site with similar worries ends up miscarrying. Good luck to all!

Well, my nipple/b___st tenderness is back. Symptoms decreased for about 12 hours and then returned strong last night. It's weird how the sensitivity differs.

Im 9 wks 2 days pregnant, and experienced a big decrease in b___st tenderness overnight two days ago. My b___sts do not feel nearly as sore and heavy as they did before, aroudn the same time the constipation eased for a couple of days. Ive had no bleeding or cramping and a pregancy test this morning still showed positive - is this an indicator things are ok?

I am 5-6 weeks and never really had tender b___sts. Everyone is different, try not to worry (it's hard w/ your 1st I know) and just enjoy being pregnant!

Wow, I see the posts for this question have gone on for two years now, and most of us having lost b___st tenderness at least temporarily at around 5 weeks! There is definitely a pattern here, and I for one and VERY relieved!!!

I am almost 6 weeks and I have no bb tenders. I did with my first child but this time around does not feel the same. I too had a miscarriage a few mnths ago so when this type of thing happens I get like all paranoid. I did read though that if you have prev. children that you m,ay not have tender bbs and or any of the sympotoms you may have felt before. I am sure it's nothing. But if unsure ask your doctor. :)

Good morning everybody! I'm 6 weeks pregnant today with my first, and my mother said she had HORRIBLE morning sickness. I have nothing!!! Is it bad to not have morning sickness even a litlte bit? I'm thankful I don't but just wondering if I should! Only symptoms...sore bb's...they hurt horribly bad...tired always, and frequent urination!!!

mommysneedlove2 - January 21

Well hello, It is not bad to not have morning sickness every person is different. I had Horrible morning, afternoon, night aALL DAY sickness and it gross. so consider yourself lucky. Its not a bad thing it just may mean your sense's may not be as sensitive as your mothers. Or that you may not have it now but it could come later in the pregnancy. This time around I don't really have it and if i do get nauses its more in the late afternoon or evening. I have read that not everyone will get it. So fear not just take advantage of it while you don't have it. Cause once it kicks in youll dread the day you questioned that it was a bad thing. Good luck with your pregnancy and CONGRATS!

Hi ladies, I am 12 weeks pregnant and at about 8 weeks I lost my bbs soreness, it comes on occastionally, but most days I am fine. My Dr told me that from 8-12 weeks your symptoms fluctuate and can often subside when entering your second trimester. Good luck and Congrats.

yep my symtpoms come and go too, one day bbs feel sore without touching next nothing unless I press on them (yeah it looks alittle strange). I haven't had much ms at all but it will just come on out of the blue like, ok everything is normal and then WHAM, where's the bathroom, then gone again. I am now 10.5 weeks and my fatigue is subsiding a little.
