Worried - Lowered Heart Rate From 6 Weeks To 7

Hello
I'm 45 and I found out I was pregnant three weeks ago. I am now 7 weeks. At 6 weeks I went for a scan at there was a heart rate of 94... because it was still early drs weren't worried. However, I went back yesterday and the heart rate was 60... but the baby he said developed exactly as expected (no stunted growth and still a heartbeat so they wouldn't call it a miscarriage). Dr was honest that it was a sign things weren't good - but I have read of heartbeats coming back stronger. I have to wait another week for a scan - and now this morning i feel less bloated than normal. I am fearing it's a misscarriage but I wanted to know if anyone had a similar experience - and what the outcome was? Thank you
