I am four weeks pregnant, and was wondering if sleeping or laying on my stomach could hurt my child? Also, how can I be sure that my baby is doing well and I am doing what I need to do to ensure him/her a healthy start?

you can sleep on your stomach until it gets too big, usually around 4-5months,it won't hurt the baby, but you shouldn't sleep on your back after 16 weeks, because it can compress blood vessels. After 16 weeks, side sleeping is best.As for the healthy start, eat well, take your vitamins,go to the doctor, and don't smoke, drink or do drugs.
