Announcement Party Has Anyone Else Had One

On July 16th I will have my 5 month sonogram and we are hoping to find out the s_x of our baby. I told mt husband that with our 1st child which we wanted to be a surprise, I felt a little left out since after I gave birth he got to go out and tell the family what we had. I feel that is a special moment that I would of liked to shared in, so since we are trying to find outthe s_x, I did not just want to tell such significant news over the phone, we decided to have an announcement party and have our close family over to tell the s_x of our baby together. I'm planning a cook out and I'm trying to come up with some good ideas's to make it even more special. I bought ones for everyone to decorate for the baby. Also I have small wooden box's, that contain a poem from baby to his/her Aunt/Uncle ect...I'm planning to make copies of my sonogram for each family member. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!!
