Conceiving While Having A Period

Can you get pregnant while on your period, or the last day of your period?
Also, can a women be on a different ovulation cycle than the "normal" ovulation cycle...i.e. 14 days before and after her period?

yes because i don't have a normal ovulation cycle my periods are irregular and last anywhere from 5 days to 2 weeks. i got pregnant the 1 st time a week after the last period and got a regular period after being a month pregnant. this time i got pregnant the next day after my last period.
