i just moved and i don't have insurance anymore, i'm pregnant...what should i do?

I would go to the health department to see if you would qualify for medicaid or any other income based health program. In many cases, if you are under the income limit, you can get prenatal care and delivery paid for. Otherwise, you may have to opt for paying a midwife, they accept monthly payments, and possibly deliver the baby at home instead of in the hospital. However, you can only do a home birth if your pregnancy is not high risk. Call the local health department as soon as possible! Good Luck!

In my state, Oregon, we have something called the ORegon HEalth Plan. Which I"m on. Pregnant women get on it automatically unless you already have insurance. It includes the first doctor visit and everything in between until two months after delivery. Then I can reapply and probably still get it. Call information and see if your state has something like it.
