Light And Shorter Periods. Negative Hpt.

My title says it all. For the past 2 months been having my periods close to when im due. But they are lighter shorter with mild cramps. Which makes me wonder. Could i still be preggo? I may not be just producing enough hcg to stop mu bleeding? Idk. Anyone had the same exp and found out they are pregnant? Pls help i dont want to hope that much and get so disappointed . Its frustrating not knowing.
