Nausea Vomiting

Hi : I am 6-7 weeks pregnant. I suffer from severe nausea. Have paricular repulsion for food. At times, try to put in some dry foods - saltines, dry cereal or toast. My question is should I take medicines that stop/reduce nausea and vomiting. Do such medicines do any harm to the baby inside? Does too much nausea affect the baby's growth?

You could try ginger, a cold pack, or the old stand by of saltines. I have a friend that used patches for motion sickness, personally I never tried it, she swears by them. The only thing that worked for me was Atomic fireb___s--go figure!

When I was pregnant the ONLY thing that worked for nausea was EMITROL. It is a cherry flavor and it doesnt taste bad! Ask ur DR about it!!
