I think I am pregnant. I had a tubal 5 1/2 years ago, is this possible?

I can't bellieve this. I am sure all of us wanted our tubes tied for the same reason. After having 3 miscarriages and 3 boys I really thought that my family was complete. It has been 10 months to the day that I had my tubes tied and now I am sitting here wondering why my period is a week late. I have never been late ever. My husband tells me that I am really stressed out with the kids and that is why but I am not sure. I just wish these tubal ligation's could be 100% effective. Then we wouldn't have to worry. I can't wait until menopause!!!

I am in the same boat. I have three boys and I had my tubes tied after my last one. it has now been nine months since then and I just resently stop nursing. I still have not had a period and its been over a month. I don't know what to think. I sometimes get cramps like i am going to start but never do i also have been having a lot of discharge. Any comments on what to do.

Never had any problems. I am about to be a Grand Mother twice and just wondered if I am concerned for nothing. Any thoughts?

Kelly, I know how you feel. I had my tubes tied last year. My one and only natural born child just turned one this past weekend and I want more. My husband refuses to even consider another one. I feel for you. I am in the same boat!

Hello ladies, I still don't have an answer for any of you. I posted about a month ago when my period was late but came on for 2 days. This month it has yet to show up.(six days late) I have been regular up until October. I don't have any "pregnancy" signs except for the absences of my period. Is there any one has actually had their tubes tied recently (my have been tied for 2 years now) but found out that they were pregnant down the road?

I had no symptons except painful intercourse. But if you are having changes in your period, it may also just be getting older. Reading all of this, I've decided my husband should get a vasectomy. I had my tubes tied with a c-section and I've heard that makes them more likely to "heal". I've also heard that 18 women out of 1000 will get pregnant within ten years of having their tubes tied.

I had a tubal ligation 5yrs ago done during my c-section. My period is late and 2 weeks ago my left b___st was discharging I am freaking. I will be getting a hpt and will let you all know the results I am quite shocked by all the after tubal pregnancies listed on here, I was told there was NO chance with the burning cutting and being tied.

to kim,u didnt get any pregnancy signs that r usually a__sociated with a pregnancy.i have the signs,as well as painful intercourse.at my last u/s my left tube looked kind of swollen.should i be concerned?or should i talk with the doctor?

I am thinking about getting my tubes tied/burned/ clamped after my c-section in Jan.... not i am all freaked out about having this done. I really don't want any more children after this one. Not to mention my hubby doesn't want to get a vasectomy * i think it is becasue he will feel less of a man.* What should I do?

Late for af, had tubes tied in 2003, by c-section...have all symptoms of being pregant..but test come back negative..if af was due on 11/10 when should you test again..thanks!
