I had an abortion when I was 18, I am now 27, can haveing an abortion affect one from getting pregnant later? Any responses or experiences?

Yes I heard that having more than 1 abortion can lead to miscarring .But ask your doctor,since you only had 1 you could be ok.

I think you should be okay. I had an abortion 8 monthes ago, and am now happily 3 1/2 monthes pregnant. Other then normal aches and ales from being pregnant, I am having a great pregnancy. I am extremly greatful. But, on the other hand, I have a girlfriend who has had 2 abortions in the past, and cannot carry a pregnancy. Everytime she gets pregnant she miscarries. I think it has something to do with the build up of scar tissue, after a D&C is performed. I think the best thing for you to do is to consult a Doctor, I wish you all the best:)
