I was wondering if anyone knows why my period only lasted two days. My period was very light it never got anything on the pad, only when i would pee. There was only a small clot of blood every time. Could I be pregnant?

When I got pregnant with my daughter I had a period the first month that only lasted two days and it was very light. I barely needed a pad or tampon. 1 week later I started with the nausea and what not. Took a test, and it was positive. It was surprising to me because I had that little period lol. I had my period two days late and it only lasted two days me and my bf was trying to conceive for three months could I finally be pregnant it was heavy n red the first day and I had cramps and it slow down the second day n completely stop the other day and I had headaches back ache n pain in my lower left abdominal am I prego ? I had started my period 2 days early on a Sunday it seemed to be like my normal. But Monday it was it started the day normal then by the end day it just stopped. Tuesday I kept checking to see if it was coming back and at three I just had a light pink spotting and that night some brownish spotting not much at all. Wednesday nothing so I asked my doctor and she said it could be from having my son, but that was a year and a half ago, so I doubt it was that. My normal periods are heavy and last 5-6 days then one not so much. Before I was becoming sensitive to smell, not feeling good, and moody So a week later Tuesday I took a test an it came back negative. But I may have taken it to early. I have never had a two day period so I am not sure what's all going on. Help please.

Hello, I wondering why i had my period a day late n My period only lasted two days with a light flow ive never experience this!! Me n My husband want to have a baby we have been tryong for two years unprotected n ive had my regular 5 day period all the time but this is a first should be worried or my cycle is changing bcuz of my bday coming up in early april i know its sounds stupid but at this point i dnt kno what to think please help me

hello, I was just wondering if anyone can help me I was 15 days LATE on my period and then on the 16th day I started what I thought was my normal period FINNALLY BECAUSE I WAS WAY LATE.... but it only LASTED 2DAYS IF THAT which is not normal for me my periods usually last 5 days and then now I have brownish color on the toilet paper I have taken preg test at home and doc office BOTH NEG.... can I be preggers..... should I take another test in a couple weeks or wait to see if my period shows im not sure any advice

Puzzles and confused.I had a tubal ligation 9 years ago and never had a problem with my menstrual until last month in April I was cramping for a whole two weeks and then period came for the five days I usually get it for. I never had pms symptoms before so may comes and I get it the 18th medium flow and it completely stops on the 20th.I had the same cramps for two weeks and sore b___st prior to this short period also.nauseous tired etc. Is it possible that I may be pregnant and I also took a test yesterday but negative so when should I retest???

Jessie, it seems real unlikely that this is pregnancy. Something else may be causing your symptoms and a doctor check up would be the next step. GL!

had a miscarriage on 20th april at 2 months. It was a full natural miscarriage and a surprise pregnancy, cause i didnt even know I was pregnant, I had 2 months of red and brown discharge. I was due to start my period on monday but for 3 days i just got thick brown discharge until early hours thursday i shot up in bed ran to the toilet to be greeted by a mad gush of red heavy bleeding. This lasted for the whole of thursday with the odd clot, brown tinge and horrendous cramps but by friday it started to tail off back to brown discharge and no cramps, a week prior to this bleed i was experiencing off and on pink discharge and the odd 5 minute sharp abdominal pain every other day. Yesterday i had 2 sharp pains in my left abdominal side that literally took the breath right out of me and a dull ache in my right side For at least 2hrs when im sat down, my periods are normally 4 days of heavy bleed and ive read that after a miscarriage to expect your first period to be heavy with clots. But this one was weird! Its like no period ive ever experienced in my life, Im totally confused. Cause after my first pregnancy i actually took a pregnancy test but it came back negative hence why i also didnt think I was pregnant. Then today I had a funny feeling so went to the toilet and i had watery pink red bleeding but only slightly & im having weird full abdominal cramps when i havent fully bled since thursday and now im gettin a bit of brown discharge but only on paper when bleeding wasnt enough to fill a tampon on friday & was mostly brown. Could this of been implantation bleeding or not?

I am 26 yrs old,5 yrs married,no kids yet and on Pull out Method. For the first time in my life I experienced this very weird 2 days or 2 1/2 days short period.I supposed to have my period on June 17th but it didn't came till June 18th afternoon time. June 18th afternoon time,used 1 panty liner till the whole night.it was almost full the next morning.blood was fresh pinkish and seems like its watery. June 19th whole day and night used 5 pads.first pad that day was full,4 other pads was all almost half way full or wet.have some clots but not like I normally gets. June 20th morning time I used a panty liner and had a fresh pinkish blood drops.then stopped and gone after an hour.I was all cleaned for the whole day and night June 21st I wear a panty liner and found 2-3 drops of dirty brownish old looking blood. And I have this weird pinching or cramp in my left and right lower abdominal.it don't hurt same time. Before this happened,I had sore b___st for 2 weeks,back ache,very bad craving,crying mood,happy,excited mood.but no cramping at all.And when I had this weird period I did not even notice that I had it coz I wasn't hurting like I always feel everytime I get my period. And I always have my period 7 days.1st day dirty brown,2nd and 3rd day heavy flow with lots of clots.4th day medium flow with clots,5th day slow,6th and 7th day spotting brownish blood.It always hurts and I always get sick. P.S I'm taking prenatal vitamins,I'm wondering if it's not the cause of all of this weird period of mine.or is it possible that I am finally pregnant?

Five years on pull-out and no pregnancy suggests there may be a fertility issue. Which said, your signs are OK and I would not let the bleed stop you from running a test any morning now. If you can't get a positive, consider the possibility that a cyst caused the signs - are they continuing after the bleed?GL!

hi grandpa vv, im new to this forum, my question is we were ttc for the past one month an i usually have regular 4to 5 days of my periods . last month i have only 3 days period and this month i got my periods for only 2 days and the remaing days were like spotting. mine is a 30 day cycle. also i had a severe back pain. is there any chance of pregnancy? also when should i go for a HPT if needed? plz hlp me with this thanx in adv

Srisri, a short and light period can be a sign of pregnancy and the backache counts too. Since you have been trying there has to be some chance. Run a home pregnancy test - they're cheap enough. I would be more encouraging if there were more early signs. GL!

Grandpa Viv, I had my last normal period starting on May 25 and it lasted 5 days as usual. Within a couple weeks my b___sts were very sore, but this symptom only lasted for a week. I then had a period that lasted 1.5 days and then was followed by many days of brown discharge; I did not keep track. I took a hpt at 5 weeks 5 days and it came up negative, so I was content to believe that I wasn't pregnant. By the way, my husband and I use the pull-out method, and have been married for two years. Then, I had another "period" (four days early) that lasted 1.5 days. It was followed by brown discharge that lasted for six days. I have never had brown discharge that lasted more than a day, maybe two. I have had diarrhea three times within the past week. The first time, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling miserable. I have other symptoms which include: left shoulder pain(off and on for almost 2 months), strange abdominal aches and pains(mostly a dull ache on the left side), stomach is cool to the touch, some nausea(about 4 weeks ago), and increased urination. Is it possible that I am pregnant even with the bleeding? Were my hcg levels too low to register on the hpt? I have scheduled a doctor's appointment, but they couldn't get me in for a week.

Hmm. Left shoulder pain can be caused by an ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy usually gives low hCG readings. If present it should be diagnosed and treated immediately. If the doctor can't be persuaded, ask if you should go to the emergency room!
