Baby Is Drinking Much Less Now

My 6 month old has started solids and is eating 3 meals a day but he is crying most of the time when I try to give him a bottle. I am lucky if he drinks 18 ounces a day. He was drinking around 25-30 oz a day before solids. Is he still going to get enough nutrients with this amount of milk? I just tried to give him his bedtime bottle and he took 1 ounce! And I had to practically force it. Is this normal?

well im not sure where you are located, but it could have alot to do with the summer heat. If you are worried though I would just start weighing him once a week (see if there is a drop in infant clinic you can go to because their scales are more accurate for infants<you can also talk to a nurse, maybe doctor about it>) Cay is 6 months old and still only on formula but she has been eating less lately..... and again, im not sure where you are, but i am in BC and we have a 24 hour free nurse line and they are EXCELENT!!.. im not sure what the number is off hand but maybe your area has something like this to set your mind at ease
