My 4 month little girl decided that being on her belly is way more fun than being on her back. This includes during the night. Even though we put her in there on her back, she ALWAYS ends up on her stomach. This scared my husband and me to death. We tried a sleep positioner to keep her on her back or side, but she absolutely hates it and will not go to sleep with it in the crib. She can roll over very well so that's the first thing she does when we put her down. Is she still at risk for SIDS or should we stop worrying? Help, we're not getting any sleep at night cause we're up every 30 minutes checking on her.

Hey my daughter still does the same. When she was 4mo. she mastered the whole rolling over thing and loves being on her tummy instead of her back. I also posted on this forum because I would put her on her back to go to sleep but when I'd wake up in the a.m. she would be sleeping on her tummy. I also tried the sleep positioner thing but didnt really work. I just let her do it. She doesnt always end up on her tummy and if im up and i see her on it then i do flip her over. I just make sure there arent any blankets or anything else in the crib with her. She sleeps on her tummy with her face to the side. Have you tried just putting her on her side? Since my baby doesnt like sleeping on her back i just turn her to her side most of the time and she stays like that. She is 6 mo. now.
