I am at my wits end. My daughter has hemorrhoids that cause her to scream and cry when she has a BM and I am sick and tired of the Dr just telling me to give her water and juice. I am practically pouring water and juice down her all day. Her BMs are softer but the hemorroids are still there causing her pain and her idiot Dr wants me to wait a few weeks and let her suffer to see what happns. She is only 10 weeks old, what can I do to treat these and stop her from hurting?

Get another opinion. Either take her to the ER or make an appt for tomorrow morning with another doctor. Dont tell them that you already have a doctor looking at them.

I agree with Stephanie...you need to find a different doctor right away. I tried to look up infant hemorrhoids online and couldn't find any info. I haven't read anything about it in any of the infant care books either. I don't think it's a very common problem, and I think you need better medical advice than you've been given. A lot of doctors don't take any of your worries seriously when it's your first baby. I had to find a different doctor for my daughter because of that...my doctor told me my daughter's hernia was a skin irritation and to change laundry detergent.
