Just wanted to say, I enjoy this forum so much. It feels like I've met and know most of you ladies!!! I think it would be so cool to go through subsequent pregnancies with you all! Someone posted saying that maybe they should try to go cold turkey from this forum for a week. lol. Impossible! It's nice to know that there are women out there who have weird MIL's, kids who do crabwalks, and husbands who say annoying things as well. :) This forum includes topics all the way from "Being bored at Wal-Mart" to more serious topics that pierce hearts and I really see women reaching out on those serious topics!! Well, anyway I'll keep this short! Happy Holidays to all!!!!! Let your beautiful spirits shine this holiday as being the women of the house, who hold it down at home...outside of home...in the middle of the night when the baby is teary eyed...and on this forum!!!!!!

Thank you Toya, that was so nice......and you described exactly how I feel about this forum.I interact more with you guys than with my other friends. And everybody has been so helpful, and it is also nice to talk about stupid stuff...like SPAM..hehe, I don't think I will ever leave this place LOL

Thank you Toya. I totally agree with you. What is amazing is that we come from all walks of life, different parts of the world and in different shades but yet share a lot of the same things. I think that this forum has given us all the chance to see that being a parent comes with universal issues and that we are never alone. I am so happy that I found this forum bc I don't have any close friends that have infants. And even though I have been a early childhood teacher for years, it is different once you have your own. I have picked up so much information on this forum that will last me for years to come. Thank you ladies for all that you guys do and all that you are.

I agree and I was the one who was trying to go cold turkey for a week.....I came from the pregnancy forum but for some reason the infant care forum is a lot nicer....I keep seeing the same names everyday and I am getting to know everone better now.

LOL Monica,we became nicer now that we are not hormonal pregnant women.I remember those days,it took nothing or i would be irritaded.I thought everybody was rude, and stupid ,..........dealing with the trolls here makes me sad i am not pregnant no more.LOL

I couldn't stand the GP forum.... Everyone was so anxious to go into labor that every last post was about mucus plugs and dilation....I love Infant Care much more!!! Maybe it is the lack of pregnancy hormones....I kind of miss being pregnant though....It really was a joyous time for me!! Every last bit of it....TC, yes it is very interesting that we come from various walks of life, but encounter such common problems. It's pretty cool.
