TO TC...i'm 20 but i had my baby only after getting married...

I had my lil guy 9wks ago. I am 27. It was a perfect age. We have been married 4 years before this lil guy

I'll be 28 on Thursday and this is my first baby as well. I didn't really want to wait, but my true love didn't come into my life until last year.

EWWWW Jbear, cherry jokes. At my reception my mother was trying to teach my dh how to hold me to get "it" just right. I had nightmares!!!! LOL!!

I got married at 30, became pregnant 10 months later, had my son at 32. I don't plan to have my next child until 34-36 range. Now that I have my son I wish we had started a few years sooner. I didn't realize how much I would enjoy motherhood. On the other hand I didn't realize how much energy, money, etc. it was going to take. If we had the money, and I could be a stay at home mom, I'd be trying again as we speak.

TO TC...I love being a mom cannot imagine my life without my son and DH, they are the most precious gift in my life..becoming a wife and a mom made me more mature and i love having their resposibilties,taking care of my house, love the feeling of being a women rather than girl..i feel that ppls trust and respect me more than ever..i love when my family make me feel important and making decisions and i know i'm important coz i have my own family which i would never trade for nothing in my life..

Thanks guys for telling your ages. Most people would not have even dared. I was just talking to my single best friend who will be 31 next month and she was going on about how her chances of having kids are over. I had her look at this thread and she felt better. I think that it so sad that women over 30 can be made to feel like mommyhood is out of the question. In this day and age of people living longer than ever, that should not even be an issue.

I am proud to be a mother at this age. I was not nearly as wise in my twenties and could not have taught my child everything I can teach him now, as an older and more experienced mother. I think he deserves the older me, lol. I may lack energy these days, but I make up for it in other ways.

I'll be 29 in march too!

turned 29 in Nov. Had my first baby in August. Could not image having a baby any sooner. WAS HAVING TOO TOO MUCH FUN :) !!!!!!
