Hi there. I'm not sure where to post this question but I'll try here and hopefully I'll get a few responses. I had my son November 14, 2005. I will be 5 weeks PP tomorrow and I am still having alot of bleeding and cramping. I was just wandering if any of you could tell me what your bleeding/cramping was like around 5 weeks PP and how long the bleeding/cramping normally lasts? I know that it is different for every woman but this is my first child so any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

I had my baby six weeks ago, and I am STILL discharging profusely ... some days it dwindles down to a thick/creamy mucus and then it'll turn back into pink spotting and then it'll turn back into heavy bleeding ... now I'm back into the plain mucus discharge stage. Look forward to the day when I become "normal" again :)

Are you guys SERIOUS? I am 3 weeks PP and was hoping it was going to end soon.. maybe not?

I had a period at 5 weeks pp...I had stopped bleeding for a couple of days, then it started again and was really heavy, with scary clots, so I called the doctor and he said it was a period. It stopped a week after that, so I guess he was right. I wasn't b___stfeeding.

My daughter is 4 months and i just stopped bleeding, my doc said it was hormonal and would settle down but didn't so she put me on a very strong pill (not b___st feeding)

I know how you feel. I had my daughter via c-section on 11/15 and I'm still bleeding. It's really getting annoying now!!

I had my son 6 weeks ago yesterday and the bleeding has pretty much been done since last week, but the discharge is still not how it normally was prepregnancy. I still get a tad crampy at times, too. Not sure if it make a difference, but I am b___stfeeding. BTW- a couple of my friends ended up bleedng for 6-8 weeks.

Ooops! It will be six weeks tomorrow that I had my son, not yesterday.

i stopped bleeding at around 3 weeks but had light brown discharge until around 4 weeks or so, and then very light clear discharge for another week and a half. i remember a few days before my 6 week appointment it was all over with and no more liners were needed.
