I was wondering, where is a good place to get professional pictures made that wont break the bank. We take LOTS of home pictures (www.amayajayne.com) and have done Sears and Wal-Mart but I was just wondering from your own experience where a good place for family pictures is?

We go to Penney's. We joined the club that offers no sitting fee and discounts for 2 years for $35. It works on any picture my daughter is in, so we have been able to use it for her Christmas pictures with my parents, too. I usually pay about $8 for a package with more pictures than I could ever actually use or $4/sheet. If I don't like the pictures, I'm not out anything and don't buy any. I have been generally really happy with the pictures we have and the manager has been there since my daughter was born and knows her by name when we go in. The only problem is that it is sometimes hard to get in for Christmas pictures and I have to go back a few times to get different poses for cheap (each package is of only one pose). But, the money I have saved is well worth it!

AHhhh another idea, something that i am going to try is pirchasing the PhotoShop program and making my own pictures look professional... the prog cost about $100 but apparently is worth it (or if u know someone who has it, just borrow from them)... give it a shot... let me know if you do this and it works out.... goodnight...
