Me personnally.....I use regular water (bottled water for babies) then mix the formula. My daughter never liked her bottle to be warmed up.

Yeah, I'm not to sure about that either but I too have been boiling water and making bottles with that after it cools to room temp. I do not warm it back up to feed my baby. I have heard that what I do is not necca__sary, it depends on the water in your county. Ask you pediatrician if boiling is neccessary where you live. It is not a lot of trouble for me so I keep doing it anyway.

usually the best temp is squirt it on your wrist .... you shouldn't feel a temp difference. If it's cold, warm it up, if it's warm or hot, wait for it to cool. You should feel the wetness but not the temp. Remember --- No microwaves !!!! #1 they take nutrients out of the formula/milk #2 they can leave a boiling hot spot in the middle of the bottle that you will not find, but your baby can

I was always under the impression that a b___st fed baby gets warm milk, therefore I make formula with warm water (formula dissolves better in boiling water...it even says it on the formula container) I make a big plastic container of formula with boiling water, add the powder, then once I feed my son, I just pour it into a bottle and warm it in the microwave...microwaves aren't always good but I shake the bottle up so the heat gets all over...then I just check the formula on my wrist.

no microwaves -- if you go to enfamil.com and similac.com and the site for goodstart -- you will see that even THEY say dont microwave the formula. I also searched for a little bit on this subject and as I said before ... it can take away certain nutrients. The easiest way to heat a bottle is to run it under the faucet under hot water.
